This week’s special guest on the Rock Show is former lead singer of the Symphonic Rock band, Nightwish: Tarja Turunen.
Since leaving the band, the singer is forging a new solo career under the banner of Tarja. Her second solo album My Winter Storm is the Rock’s Show’s Album Of The Week.
Tarja talks to presenter Jeff Collins on the phone from her home in Buenos Aires about the inspiration behind her new CD, recording a new version of Alice Cooper’s hit single Poison and about life after Nightwish.

The Rock’s Show’s New Band Of The Week is Big Linda. Heavily tipped by Classic Rock magazine to be the ‘Next big Thing’, their debut album I Loved You is out on April 14th....we have access to some preview tracks.
