He’s one of the most iconic figures in Rock.
Overnight DAVID COVERDALE went from working in a clothes shop in a small English town to fronting one of the biggest bands in the world: DEEP PURPLE.
Now he’s is celebrating 30 years at the helm of his band Whitesnake, with the band are about to release their first studio album in a decade.
DAVID COVERDALE is the Rock Show’s special guest this Sunday.
He tells presenter Jeff Collins about leaving DEEP PURPLE, the creation of WHITESNAKE and the making of their latest album Good To be Bad...including how three giant black bears invaded his home recording studio during those sessions!!!


Also Jeff will be talking to Blues rockers P-A-U-L and THE HARPER WOODS HEROES. Paul Andrew Ulysses Lamb was born in Detroit and raised on the streets of an east side community known as Harper Woods. At age three, his father bought him a Jimi Hendrix album for his birthday. It changed his life forever. He talks to Jeff about that experience, life growing up in Detroit, his heroes Bob Seger and Bruce Springsteen and his new album, Hanging On For Dear Life.
They are the the Rock Show’s band To Watch this week.
